Seen a few complaints about the Calibre 5 movement and TAG qualityĮither leather strap OR SS bracelet means limited flexibility in dressiness without an additional purchase Very common.not necessarily this model, but TAGs in general Readily available/I can actually try one on before buying Well-known brand with tons of satisfied (?) customers Sleek styling (as stated above, I like the simplicity of a classic.and I love a transparent case) I've come up with a short list of pros/cons for each, but please contribute any feedback you have. I'm looking for a little more objective feedback about the two watches in question if anyone cares to chime in. Therefore, I imagine a lot of you will tell me that it comes down to personal preference. In a lot of ways, I know these watches seem similar: general style and "feel", functionality, price range, movement. I've been doing a ton of research and think I have it narrowed down to 2 models-the Sinn Frankfurt Financial District 6068 (I wanted the NK and missed a chance at a pre-owned one here a few months back), and the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5. My styling preference skews toward the more classic look I want something casual enough to wear with jeans and a t-shirt but nice enough to wear with a suit. In terms of what I want in a watch, it's really nothing special-I want a daily wearer that keeps good time, is durable (I'm careful enough), looks good, and is worth the money. I've wanted a "nice" watch for years and can finally afford something, so I'm trying to gather a bit more info before making a purchase. I'm new to the forums and this is my very first post, though I've been stalking the FS section for some time now looking for.something.
